Early Will I Seek

It’s been one of those nights – tossing and turning – and not really knowing why. Something is going on – I must commit it to God. The waters are being troubled somewhere -for one that I am connected to – i feel it. I rise early, hoping to know knowing that prayer itself, even without knowledge is in order.

The prophet Isaiah declared:

8 Lord, we show our trust in you by obeying your laws;
our heart’s desire is to glorify your name.
9 All night long I search for you;
in the morning I earnestly seek for God.
For only when you come to judge the earth
will people learn what is right.
10 Your kindness to the wicked
does not make them do good.
Although others do right, the wicked keep doing wrong
and take no notice of the Lord’s majesty.Isaiah 26:8-10 (NLT)

We pray and pray and pray – and months go by, sometimes years, we don’t see the answers – that loved one is not saved – our country seems to get worst – sin becomes more flagrant in the land – and yet we pray anyway! We call out to God and though we don’t see, He hears , and He answers prayer! There is that one – whose heart is touched -who allows the Holly Spirit to come into their life and they are changed – transformed – born again! They tell others and of those others – someone hears – someone receives – someone tells others.

In our distress, we sometimes fail to see that though it may appear that those who are speaking – represent the majority opinion – God yet has a people – He yet is in control of this world – He yet will move across our land – as we pray… WE give Him permission to move – to heal – to restore – to yes – even pluck up and destroy the works of the enemy!

As we go into our houses of worship today and give our God praise – let us go armed – ready – to get reinforced to do battle against the enemy of our souls –

5And He said to them, Which of you who has a friend will go to him at midnight and will say to him, Friend, lend me three loaves [of bread],
6For a friend of mine who is on a journey has just come, and I have nothing to put before him;
7And he from within will answer, Do not disturb me; the door is now closed, and my children are with me in bed; I cannot get up and supply you [with anything]?
8I tell you, although he will not get up and supply him anything because he is his friend, yet because of his shameless persistence and insistence he will get up and give him as much as he needs.

9So I say to you, Ask and keep on asking and it shall be given you; seek and keep on seeking and you shall find; knock and keep on knocking and the door shall be opened to you.
10For everyone who asks and keeps on asking receives; and he who seeks and keeps on seeking finds; and to him who knocks and keeps on knocking, the door shall be opened
Luke 11:4-10 Amp)

Be Blessed This Lord’s Day!
Maria
