AOH At the ROCC!

Tomorrow night is the last opportunity for 2009 that you can experience the Atomosphere of Heaven worship experience at the ROCC church. Too many have been blessed to give their testimonies here, but I can punch my own ticket! Each time I have attended this worship experience it was a time of refreshing, a time of healing, and a time of deliverance (yes God actually showed me some areas that I needed to deal with and told me right then and there to deal with them). One of the things that stand out in my mind from my Christian experience are the sweet times of fellowship when we left the four walls of our church and ventured out to fellowship with other believers in other congregations. It was a glimpse into what I believe heaven will be like.

The atmosphere does indeed seemed to be charged when believers come together to worship God – forgetting about denominational lines or congregational agendas. We participate in a spirit of unity that I believe was the setting for Acts 2. I want to say that I understand denominations, I understand independent churches, I respect the men and women of God who have sought God for what they should do in the kingdom and God led them to build a church house for a body of believers. I personally feel that there is no greater call than the call of one who dares to say that they have heard from God and are willing to go on the line for the cause of Christ! Yet, when all is said and done, each of us will have to stand one day before the judgment seat of Christ to answer for the deeds we have done. In this hour that we live in, each of us have a “call”, that is not only great – no matter what that call is – whether in the marketplace or the home – to perform great and mighty acts that will have eternal consequences.

In these final hours of time – each of us are uniquely equipped to allow the Holy Spirit to manifest His work on this earth – and to do that – we need strength – strength from daily time with God – strength from studying God’s Word – and strength from corporate worship!

If your schedule permits, come out to the ROCC in South Holland, you’ll be glad you did!

Kairos,

Maria
