Live With Intentionality!

The final sands in the hour glass of 2009 have begun. As we look back on this year, there is not one thing we can change – it is, was it is; or shall I say, it was, what it was! Unfortunately in life, there are no do-overs, how I wish there were, don’t you? To live in vain regret is a needless waste of time, ask me how I know! read more...

Time is Winding Down; Eternity is Now!

Two days and we will see the end of 2009! Already I am hearing from other people who share my sentinment that this was a year of many challenges, and they have expectancy that 2010 will be better. I believe that, I believe that this past year has been a year of preparation of the heart, to know the kinds of things to focus on – to value – yes to even cherish. Time is indeed winding down as we know it – and for those who can receive it – we are stepping into eternity – casting off the temporal and reaching for the eternal! read more...

Press!

Every year God speaks to me at the end of the year concerning the year to come. I haven’t got the message completely, but one word I heard, and I know it is is order is to press! One thing that has been brought to my attention, and I don’t feel I am alone in this, God’s people have gotten too soft! We have forgotten we are in a warfare and we have forgotten that we have “power over all the power of the enemy!” read more...

Punch Your Ticket!

As this year closes and a brand new year unfolds, my gratitude extends far more than mere words can say – but one thing I learned about God, He wants us to SAY SO! I have had the opportunity to punch my ticket every day this year through this medium. I appreciate the love and support shown by so many through your comments, both written, and spoken. I’m grateful to God for His grace extended to me – in that I took so long to step out and believe that I could really do it! read more...

We've Turned the Corner!

The other day at family prayer, one of my daughters stated God told her that she had “turned the corner” and things were going to begin to look up. Now this is a good word, that anyone would be happy to receive, but you and I both know that words like that usually come with testing. It was indeed tested in my daughter’s life, and fortunately she BELIEVED the word and withstood the test! read more...

Hark the Herald Angels Sing, Glory to the Newborn King!

Our title comes from a familiar Christmas song – a message that speaks of this day – the day we acknowledge that indeed that heaven made announcement that the King was born! Not just an ordinary king – born of a royal family – this king was begotten of God Himself! God came to earth robed in human flesh, making entry as every other human, yet marked with the character of divinity! There was no regular posting of a nation’s colors, nor was there a special trumpet sound – rather Heaven itself became ablaze with angels who issued the proclamation and signs and wonders went across the land straight from heaven’s court. read more...

Advent: How Can We Refuse A Gift of Such Value?

In this season one of the things on all of our minds in this country is the question of what kind of gifts are we going to give? And of course, depending on our age and stage we might also be wondering what kind of gift are we going to receive. Many people today suffer from depression – it can become a sickness that is as real and sometimes as deadly as cancer.
