God Answers Prayer!

It is no coincidence that Wes and Neesha are posting this month on HeartLife. Though they are my children, I have found no young couple more qualified – (there are plenty AS qualified) – to give words of encouragement and even admonishment to the Body of Christ regarding marriage related issues. Most readers don’t know our story completely, and I was impressed this evening to share some of it… read more...

Call It In!

We’re entering the last stretch of 2010 – in just three and a half short months – it will be 2011! I have seen tremendous answers to prayer and although I still have a few major ones out there – i am looking for them with expectation – in fact I am calling them in! read more...

What If? by Neesha Stringfellow

Pondering about the daily tragedies that many face from day to day not only causes me to be grateful, but also to hold on to the promises of God like never before. Pray like never before.
My beautiful Aunt Tisha sings a song written by Andre Crouch
You may ask me why I serve the Lord
Is it just for heavens gain
Or to walk the mighty streets of Gold or to hear the angels sing
Or to drink from that fountain that never shall run dry
Or just to live forever ever and ever
In the sweet old by and by
IF HEAVEN NEVER WAS PROMISED TO ME
NEITHER GOD’S PROMISE TO LIVE ETERNALLY
ITS BEEN WORTH HAVING THE LORD IN MY LIFE
LIVING IN A WORLD OF DARKNESS
HE CAME AND BROUGHT ME THE LIGHT
What a beautiful voice my aunt has a well as every time I hear her sing this song it pierces through my heart, that yes its been worth having the Lord in my life. It is worth the hope to hold on to the promises God has made.
We all go through challenges in life, dissapointment, sickness, disease, loss of a loved one, and so much more. However I can’t imagine what people do without the Lord in their life. I can’t imagine how they can face tomorrow.
Just a thought, how many of us truly say that if there weren’t anything promised to us, Has it been worth having the Lord in our life? Short and sweet I know but truly think about it and begin to give thanks to the Father.
Well thanks be unto God who has given us the victory.
… Let us hold firmly to the hope that we have confessed, because we can trust God to do what he promised.
