When asked by His disciple about signs of His return and the end of the age, Jesus emphatically urged them saying, “See that no one deceives you.” (Matthew 24:4). What a time of rejoicing for the nation of Israel, the coveted ark of the covenant had come home. There was dancing in the streets, the heart of the king was filled to overflowing; David felt as if he had finally accomplished his mission. It’s Time to GROW!
As I was reading my devotion yesterday, a passage of scripture jumped out at me – whenever that happens, it’s for sure that I need to pay attention. As I meditated on it however, I felt that it was something worth sharing. One of the travesties in the body of Christ today is the absence of maturity among believers. Too many of us are still feeding on milk, stumbling around as a toddler, and refusing to be potty trained.
