A Final Word About the Process…

It is my prayer that each of you who read the five part series of “Believe the Prommise, Embrace the Process” will sincerely take it to heart. There is no doubt that not only have individuals experienced a shift, but there has been a shift in the earth realm. There is an acceleration of destructive forces that have caused great pain and suffering, and often seize our attention and focus and we fail to see that as been an even greater acceleration of activity in the Kingdom of God! read more...

Believe the Promise, Embrace the Process – Part V!

All this week we have been dealing with a topic that is very close to my heart.   Every day I encounter people who are right on the verge of their breakthrough and instead of pressing forward, they tend to give up right before the finish line. You may ask how can I make such a preposterous statement, it sounds a little like judging. This kind of thinking has been the major reason that as a collective body, so few churches teach the whole gospel. They are either afraid of offending people, or they as the ecclesiastical body won’t continue on the pathway to victory themselves! read more...

Believe the Promise, Embrace the Process – Part IV!

Are you in the hallway of a test or trial – have you determined that even though right now, you may be experiencing a little bit of “hell – in that hallway”  – that you are going to go through? If so, you have made a wise choice. Common sense tells us that if we enter a door and we’re trying to get to a certain point (which is usually out of that door into the open space) – then we have to go through! Believe it or not, there are many Christians who love God, who are passionate about their life as a believer who, for one reason or another, refuse to go through the hallway! As strange as it seems, they will set up camp in the hallway! Yes, they will talk about the “hell” they are going through, but that is all they will do – they will not do those things that will take them THROUGH THE HALLWAY! read more...

Believe the Promise, Embrace the Process – Part III

Most believers recognize that when there is a challenge in their life that won’t go away, that somewhere God is at work. We usually gird our loins and say,”o.k. – it doesn’t look much like something I like, or would choose, but, here goes…!”  We plunge into the waters, step up the prayer and bible study and with anticipation of really “getting this” – we go forward. What happens to most of us however is that after we’ve gone so far, for so many days, weeks, or months – we recognize something – from where we stand, nothing has happened! We are pressing with all our might, praying with all that is in us, seeking God – all we know how – and NOTHING IS CHANGING! Instead of going to a “place called THERE” , we seem to be eternally stuck in a a “place called HERE!” read more...

Believe the Promise, Embrace the Process – Part II

Yesterday we began a message that we know is one that is relevant to what many people are going through in this season. The major failure of most believers is not one of moral failure or some other horrendous sin. The major failure most of us find in our lives is that we lack a finishing grace.  We will hear from God, trust that we heard Him, begin a journey based on what we heard, and somewhere on the journey we will give up, turn back, or sit down on the job! We will always hear the words of the Apostle Paul in Galatians 5:7: “Ye did run well “who did hinder you from obeying the truth?” read more...

Believe the Promise, Embrace the Process!!

“Praise be to the LORD, the God of Israel, who with his own hand has fulfilled what he promised with his own mouth to my father David. For he said, 16‘Since the day I brought my people Israel out of Egypt, I have not chosen a city in any tribe of Israel to have a temple built that my Name might be there, but I have chosen David to rule my people Israel.’ read more...

Oh What Love!

We are knee deep in the wedding season, and also the time of celebration of wedding anniversaries. What a reminder of the joy that is found in finding one’s true love. Even if you have never been married, the love expressed by the bride and groom even creates joy for all who attend. Love has that effect. In fact there is no greater evidence of love on earth than when a man and woman decide to commit their lives to one another. The only thing that trumps that experience is when children come forth from this union – well, grandchildren are a close second! There is one experience we all can partake of that not only mimics that love and joy, but far surpasses it,  and that is receiving the Lord Jesus Christ as one’s personal Savior and Lord! It is no wonder that the Bible describes the church as the Bride of Christ – and Jesus as the Bridegroom! read more...

What You Heard on the Sunrise Side of Your Jordan…

There is no one born into this world that does not have within their DNA certain characteristics that they inherited from their father and their mother, and of those charcteristics many were passed down from preceding generations. It is also true that there is no person born that does not have within their DNA characteristics from the Father of all, our Creator. We are “born into His image and His likeness” ( Gem/ 1:26). As such, each of us are possessed with a part of the vision of God Himself.  Each of us have a part to play in bringing about the Kingdom of God upon earth – this is our destiny. read more...

It’s gonna be worth it! I believe It!

Every day presents a new challenge, a new idea, a new beggining, a new suprise, and sometimes a new dissapointment.  People  have a tendancy to allow the circumstances to dictate the day.  I think we all are guilty at one point or another where we don’t like the outcome of what life presents us.  Do we really believe that in the end it will be worth it.  I often times don’t know if its the first thought that crosses my mind but because of the love of God, He gently reminds  me that His love superceeds it all.  read more...
