As long as we live on this planet we are going to go through challenging times and circumstances. One of the best things about being a Christian for me is being able to take a Word and receive it and know that Word is not only giving me present encouragement, but future promise! read more...
Joyful! Joyful!
We all know about the things that describe the way we view life, like seeing he glass half full, or seeing it half empty. There are those of us who border on being very optimistic, and those of us who tend to lean to the dark side and see a problem in every thing! Perhaps this is one of the greatest benefits we have as a Christian, when we really get filled with the Spirit – the joy that is a by-product of the Spirit does not depend upon us! read more...
Rub-a-Dub-Dub-Three Men in a Tub!
Yesterday at prayer, all of us agreed we were due for some work on an inside job! Things had began to clutter in around the heart – and our payers focused on the Three Men who could fix it – who were they -the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. When we pray, we pray to the Father, in the Name of the Son, and the Holy Spirit gets to work getting the job done! read more...

What Characteristics Are You Collecting?
Many of us like symbols around us, and we collect certain kinds of symbols because they are significant to us. I have always had a penchant for collecting globes, pictures of maps, lighthouses, and eagles. Each of these things speak to me – and when I look upon them they give me encouragemen read more...
A Finishing Grace!
Why do we applaud the winners of a race – the high point champion in a game – the politician who actually became the senator, governor, etc? the obviious answer is because they won, but actually it is more than that. Most of us by the time we get to a little age recognize how competitive the world is. We begin in elementary school having races, spelling bees, math contests, science fairs, little league. We grow up in a world that consistently showcases talent, and most of us don’t even begin to discover talent until way past the time that have already begun to feel like a failure! read more...
Re-Mix Friday – A Word from Apostle Nina-Marie..
God bless you, HeartLife Family, this IS the day that the Lord has made, and we will … we will … we will! I greet you with the strength of two words: “His will.” I keep hearing Jesus speak softly into my Spirit-ear, “My will is to do His will.” Of course if Jesus says, “His will is to do the Will of His Father”, and we are His containers because He is Christ IN us, the Hope of Glory … then it simply behooves us to begin to say and think just like the Christ because we know there is no propensity to failure in Him! Glory to God! You were created to succeed. Now you must marry and become one with the blueprints afforded unto us by Him. read more...
Let’s Get Some Things Settled!
It never fails to amaze me that no matter how many times go back and re-read the Bible through, that I get some new insight and revelation. Even though in the Old Testament it’s still hard to get through some of the begat’s, if you can walk through those, you will find some good stuff. And interestlingly enough, some of it has to do with the begots! read more...
“Tis so Sweet to Trust in Jesus!
There are so many things in this life, that no matter how long you live, they still come unexpected. The expression often used to describe this is: “it threw me off guard”.This expression has more in it than meets the eye, for in fact, most of us are “on guard” to things – we learn to prepare for the unexpected – we put some money aside, or we take some extra Vitamin C, or place an umbrella in our car, even though the day is sunny. However, those are the REAL AREAS WE GUARD OURSELVES AGAINST, we guard ourselves against people, we guard our emotions, we guard how much of ourselves we will give away, and we do it so well, we do it without really considering it. We don’t call it being guarded, we call it learning to deal with life! read more...
Power or Influence?
The discussion arose on yesterday as to what people really want, “power” or “influence”. As I went to the dictionary to determine the real difference between the two, I discovered that “power” as it relates to people is: read more...
